Oh you know… – this has the same meaning as ‘Well….’

clear weeds – cut down useless plants, grass or flowers

a night out with the lads – a drinking party with friends

an evening in – stay at home

a bit dead – boring, nothing exciting happening

Another great find by my friend Michael Stout. You can make your own comics by going to Toondo.com and making an account. I haven’t decided how I’m going to use these cartoons yet. This is just a test of the possibilities. This one shows how you can use the word ‘neanderthal’.
