The second in the ‘President’ series. This time the current President Bush has a strange dream on the night of his last day in office. The dialogue is a slightly altered version of the lyrics from the Eagles great song, ‘Hotel California.’ If you know it hum the tune while watching the cartoon, or better still buy the CD.

Still on summer holiday so this is an extra lesson for intermediate students. As we’re about to enter that long period of media circus called the US Presidential Race here is a short animated video on the Republican candidate – John McCain.

suck up to – to try and influence someone by being nice to them
