A: That stew was really a production Mrs. Adams. Can we help with the dishes?
B: Uhuh. No KP duty around here seargeant. Strictly automatic. See? Whoops! Some in here already mom.
M: That’s all right dear. Just put them in with the others………Oh, wait a minute Bob. Why not do it the easy way?

Phone rings

B: Excuse me, mom.
A: That used to be my job at home. Washing the dishes I mean.
M: Oh, Bob and Judy have had their share, too. But thank heavens no more washing and wiping dishes around here. And the dishwasher uses such hot water you couldn’t possibly put your hands in it.
A: Sure. That makes the dishes hygienically clean.
M: I’ll put the ???? cooker in when I do the next load………See, nothing to it, is there?

B: What?……Okay, beautiful. Don’t forget to call me, will you?
J: Sally phoned and asked me to go for a swim. Thought you might like to come along…, and bring Alex.
B: Oh, thanks. But I think Alex is going to be busy.
J: Busy doing what?
B: Now look small fry, don’t give me any trouble. All I know is that he’s seeing a man at the North West Machine Works on a matter of hydraulics. Why don’t you ask him yourself?
J: Thanks, I will.
